Foundation Breakfast Shines with Hollywood Theme
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema brought out the red carpet, literally, for the Westminster Public Schools Foundation breakfast on Friday, February 23rd.
The Hollywood-themed event titled “It’s a New Dawn, It’s a New Day,” raised money for the foundation while shining the spotlight on emotional stories of how foundation dollars have funded student scholarships and supported families in need through the Benevolent Fund.
The event grossed over $43,000 and was described by Superintendent Pam Swanson, as the “best ever” because it brought the entire community together.
In addition to watching the film on the movie theater screen (you can see it below), the event showcased live musical and dance performances by WPS students.
Next up is the Foundation Golf Tournament on June 7, hosted at The Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Register now to ensure a spot!
