Message from the Principal

 Dear ECC Families,

As we approach spring, I wanted to take a minute to remind families about a few things.  Remember if Westminster Public Schools calls a two hour delayed start, there will be no school for the AM session, PM session will continue as a normal school day.

Parking lot safety is very important at the ECC, and I must insist that all parents, family members, and other guests please follow the parking lot rules and be respectful to the ECC staff that are on duty in the parking lot.  We ask that you please refrain from parking in places that would block any driveways or that are not marked as parking places and only to park in handicapped parking spaces if you have a permit or license plate to do so.  Always use the crosswalks when walking through the parking lot. Lastly, we would like to ask you not to leave any children unattended in a car while dropping off your preschooler.   Sincerely,

Jennifer Keyes

Early Childhood Center Coordinator

Congratulations to room 7 AM and 5 PM for collecting the most money for the Leukemia Society.  Both classes will receive a pizza party!

Graduation Pictures for Students in 4 Year Old Program

Graduation pictures for students in the 4 Year Old Program will be April 1st.  Photographers will be providing the cap and gown, but they will need two volunteers to help get the children ready. If you would like to volunteer, please sign-up in the office.

Building News

This month teachers analyzed student growth from fall to winter using Teaching Strategies Gold.  Students are making excellent progress in the areas of literacy and math development, but continue to struggle with the concept of rhyming.  Please take time to practice rhyming words at home with your child to help us with this effort.
