Weekly Update for March 11th-March 15th
This week’s update includes some very exciting news…
Look for CSA to break ground on a brand new playground for the 2019-2020 school year! We hope to begin construction in June and have our new playground ready for students next fall. I have also attached the 2019-2020 school calendar for your planning needs. Please note that early release days have been moved to Mondays to help build consistency for families.
Middle School Dance
Colorado Stem Academy's Student Council has organized a middle school dance for March 15th. The dance begins at 3:00 and ends at 5:00. Middle School classes will be brought down to the gym by their teacher for the beginning of the dance. Students who choose to leave at regular dismissal time will be dismissed through our regular school procedure. If your student is staying passed our regular dismissal time, then your student will need to be picked up and signed out. All 5th grade aged students at the middle school will be dismissed at their regular dismissal time. This year’s theme is Mardi Gras and students may wear a Mardi Gras themed mask covering the top of the face to the dance. Please click on this link if you’re able to help with any donations.
The PTA will again be partnering with school staff to host a fun and informative Wellness Fair on March 21st! Please save the date! It will be held from 4 to 5:30 pm in the elementary gym. More information to come as we plan for the event, but if you would like to be a part of it, please email Niki at email@example.com. We will need a few parent volunteers to make it a success! We are also looking for wellness related vendors who might want to have a booth at the event. Send them our way if you know of anyone who might be interested!
CSA is having a Career Day Friday, April 26, 2019!
