Weekly Update May 20th-May 24th

Good Afternoon CSA Families,

Wow.  It’s so hard to believe we are coming upon the final days of school.  In addition to the talent show, we love to celebrate our student success at our end of year award ceremonies.  On Thursday, May 23rd we will celebrate our kindergartners at 9:00am and our 8th graders will participate in their continuation ceremony at 2:00pm.  On Friday, May 24th we will recognize our remaining middle school students at 9:00 followed by our ceremony for our elementary students at 10:00. All award ceremonies will be located in our middle school gym and all students are dismissed for summer following their award ceremony.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Stock up for summer reading at our annual Buy One, Get One Free Book Fair- open before and after award assemblies on May 23rd and May 24th in Middle School Room 209! We are making this sweet deal even sweeter- LOTS of giveaways! Stop by for plenty of chances to win books!!   We need a few volunteers to help make this happen! We are especially in need of volunteers on May 23rd. Sign up here

Colorado Stem Academy’s Student Council has planned our third  annual Day Without Hate event for the afternoon of May 21st.  Day Without Hate started as an event to promote nonviolence, unity, and respect in our schools.  CSA will be on assembly schedule this day and the event will be begin at 1:35.  All students will be partnered up with a buddy to rotate through various activities that student council planned to encourage unity, cooperation, kindness, respect, and togetherness. Stay and Play at CSA with Coach Miranda and the junior coaches after school to continue the Day Without Hate celebrations. There will be recess games and activities set up outside. Enjoy the evening playing with your family and others from CSA. Please bring a small toiletry item to donate to Growing Homes of Westminster to support other families in our area as well.

Finally, please remember to register your children for the 2019-2020 school year.  Click here to begin the process.

Please remember to visit our School website or the PTA website for more information and, as always, thank you for your continued support of CSA!
