Spring conferences are scheduled for February 24th and 26th in the evening and our dedicated PTA is hosting a book fair in the middle school during this time. Please read the attachment to help you plan for this important night.
We have a wonderful opportunity for our CSA students. This year we celebrate the 73rd anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. In recognition of Robinson and Black History Month, the Colorado Rockies are proud to host the 14th Annual “Rockies Honor Robinson” Youth Artistic Contest for elementary, middle and high school students in the Denver area. The contest theme is “Breaking Barriers” and students can submit anything artistic to describe what breaking barriers means to them; any form of artistic expression is encouraged, such as poetry, music, art, or even a video presentation of dance or drama. Students need to submit their entries to Ms. Farrell by March 6th for judging. If your student’s art is chosen as one of the top three entries, it will be sent to the Colorado Rockies and judged along with the best three entries from all other participating schools. Please contact Ms. Farrell or click here for more information.
Finally, our PTA has partnered with Longmont Dairy with the Milk Caps for Moola Program. Bring in your bottle caps from any Longmont Dairy product to either office to help make a difference for our school. Learn more about this program here.
Please don’t forget to view the attachments for more opportunities for our students and as always, thank you for your continued support of CSA!
