Weekly Update for August 9th-13th
Good afternoon CSA families,
This year's theme is Challenge Accepted and, as a team, we are prepared for just that! Last year brought on new challenges for our students, staff, and community as a whole. We learned new things, experienced struggles, and found ways to thrive against all odds. This year, we are excited to challenge ourselves to greater heights-- we know you’re all ready to take this challenge along with us.
I also wanted to make you aware of a few staffing updates. Lindsay Lohmann has accepted the position of Principal at Colorado Sports Leadership Academy. We are excited for her as she takes on her own new challenge. With that, Richard Diehl, our former coach and dean, will be filling our Assistant Principal role with his office at CSA middle school. I invite you to reach out to them directly to congratulate them on their new roles. We also have more staffing updates you can view on our website here.
As you begin planning for the upcoming school year, we wanted to share a few reminders, attachments, and important dates.
Please make sure to fill out this form from our Tech Services department. In order for your student to receive a Chromebook, this form must be completed. Additionally, it is highly recommended that families participate in the Chromebook insurance program. If your Chromebook becomes damaged, then the cost to replace the Chromebook is free if you opt into the insurance program for $50. Here is a great resource from our Technology Services program in case you have any questions.
August 12th 4:00-6:00 Back to School Night

Please plan to bring school supplies to back to school night on August 12th from 4:00-6:00. Please wear your mask and join us in both gymnasiums to learn about important school procedures and pick up your schedules. You can schedule an appointment to visit our school store on Thursday August 12th here or Friday, August 13th here. You can also purchase shirts online by clicking here. We will have important information about before and after school care at our Back to School night or you can check out our district Boys and Girls Club for summer and after school care options. As a reminder all people inside the building are required to wear a mask. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Our K-8 students start school on August 17th at 8:30 and our Pre-k students will start school on August 19th at 8:30. Students can be dropped off anytime between 8:00-8:30. Student pick up will start at 3:30 in both buildings with an assigned Driveline number distributed at Back to School Night.
As always, thank you for your continued support of CSA!
