Biomedical Innovation Class Gets Hands-on with Cadavers

On Tuesday, November 15, the PLTW Biomedical Innovation class was hosted by Dr. Cliff Barnes of Regis University for a special “hands-on” experience in the Regis cadaver lab. This lab, which contains 12 human cadavers donated for science research and to be used by the physical therapy students at Regis for dissections, is one of the most advanced and heavily-used cadaver labs in the Denver Metro area. WHS students were matched with Regis students and were able to tour the lab, interact with Regis faculty, and learn about the ins and outs of the human body by observing and exploring human cadavers.
