WHS Takes Home Top Prizes at TSA State Conference!

In February, WHS sent fourteen students to the Technology Student Association’s (TSA) State Conference at the Denver Tech Center. These students competed against more than 70 different schools from across Colorado. Our students competed in nine different events.  Paola Benitez and Aroon Enriquez won first place in Architectural Design for their tiny house design, while Ye Cheng Zhou and JJ Yanker also won first place for their unique design of a prosthetic arm in Technology Problem Solving.  Brissa Moreno, Oanh Vu, and Andrea Maldonado won second place in the Empathy and Engineering event for their prototype of a toy that could be used for a child recovering from an illness in the hospital. We are proud of all of the students who attended the TSA Conference.  They represented our school and district very well.
