WHS Robotics Team Dive Into Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs)

Seaperch Robots have arrived at WHS and our TSA students are preparing to jump into action and learn how to save our planet.  Did you know that the world's oceans are being threatened by giant floating "garbage patches" and waste which are affecting the health and safety of wildlife and humans?  Westy’s very own Robotics Club is currently building 3 underwater ROV's to compete as a team in TSA’s 2020 SeaPerch Challenge.  Westy Robotics Club will be working with school mentors, various schools around the Denver Metro area and The City of Westminster's Swim & Fitness Center to train our robotics team on how to build and drive the underwater ROVs through various obstacle courses. Once trained, our students will compete at SeaPerch which is an underwater robotics competition sponsored by the U.S. Navy and TSA in February. Good luck to all of our Robotic Wolves!
