Freshman Westy Wolf Scores Big at FBLA State Leadership Conference

FBLA is the high school division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. FBLA helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.  Colorado’s FBLA advisors, state officers, and members worked diligently together and pulled off their first ever virtual State Leadership Conference last spring.

Westminster High School freshman Esau Gonzales Garay, a local chapter FBLA officer, finished 5th in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure and was the first alternate to attend FBLA National Leadership Conference (NLC).  In addition to his outstanding performance at the SLC and pending competition at the NLC, Esau is an outstanding academic student, manager at the Wolves Den School Store, is an FBLA chapter Parliamentarian, NJHS member, is active in his church, and in local community service events.  Esau previously took 1st place in Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure at the Fall Leadership Conference and the District Leadership Conference.  Esau was also recognized for lettering last year in FBLA as a freshman. Other members of the Westminster FBLA Chapter competing at last year’s State Leadership Conference included Alexander Zambrano, Personal Finance; Haley Khang, Publication Design; Yuliana De Lira Pinedo and Alany Rodriguez Ramos, Publication Design.

This year, members of FBLA have adapted their brick and mortar store location within Westminster High School to include a digital online store. Delivery and pick-up is currently  available only to customers within Westminster High School but members are working on expanding business to contactless curbside service for customers outside of Westminster High School.  Click here to visit the Wolves Den Digital Store.  For more information about FBLA contact the Westminster FBLA Chapter Adviser Malcolm Davis at
