On a crisp fall morning, students and their families gathered in the blacktop outside Sunset Ridge Elementary to await the arrival of a Black Hawk helicopter. Each year, the Westminster Area Community Awareness Action Team (C.A.A.T.). sponsors the visit of Black Hawk helicopters to schools across the district. These visits include speeches about the importance of staying drug-free from members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and Colorado National Guard.
