The school mascot is still the Timberwolves, but Tennyson Knolls Preparatory School has an exciting new logo to go with its new mission as a neighborhood PK-8 school serving the southwest corner of Westminster Public Schools.
Under the leadership of Principal Heather McGuire, the school will expand from a traditional PK-5 to include 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students. Current 5th-grade students will be automatically rolled up into the new school, while older students who attended Tennyson Knolls as elementary students will be invited back to the school if they choose to attend.
Tennyson Knolls Preparatory School is also accepting applications from families in surrounding school districts as well.
“This school will provide an ideal solution for families with students of varying ages who like the idea of all the siblings going to the same school,” said McGuire. “Our staff is so excited to provide this opportunity. The reaction from parents has been overwhelmingly positive.”
