Next time you hear Westminster High School students playing music, listen closely and you will notice that not only are the students better, so too are their instruments.
Thanks to the generosity of the group, “Bringing Music to Life” the school has a major upgrade in its supply of instruments for students to play. The organization collects used instruments and then repairs and refurbishes them for students across the state of Colorado.
The program began in 2010, and the group estimates it has donated more than 5,500 instruments to local schools benefitting an estimated 17,000 children.
What’s Up WPS cameras went along as the instruments were picked up and there as students began playing them.
