Mission Complete for Class of 2022
Just moments after being reminded that the “Wolf Pack has always got your back”, 379 Westminster High School seniors received their diplomas on Saturday night during ceremonies at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield.
About half of the students wore green chords signifying that they had attended Westminster Public Schools since kindergarten. Of note, this is the first class to have been educated in the district’s Competency Based System (CBS) from the very beginning.
Superintendent Dr. Pamela Swanson called the Class of 2022 a “Generation of Learners”, adding, “Westminster Public Schools relentless focus on mastery and true understanding will serve you well the rest of your lives.”
Life-time friends Cloeann Chavez and Damion Scott were Co-Valedictorians and delivered speeches urging their fellow students to follow their passions and do their part to make the world a better place.
Highlights of the graduation speeches can be seen below. The entire celebration can be seen here. Check out photos from the 1STBANK Center on Facebook.
